By giving training to number of students in karnatik music, it not only creates a group of persons with proficiency in music and strong motivation and drive for propagation of the values of music. He has been mastermind behind NADABRAHMAM charitable
trust and its host philanthropic and other activities. It His success is not limited to a small area like Thrissur.
He started a music school in Saudi Arabia, which is another success
story of Mr. M.D. Somashekhar. By starting this venture, he could
help lots of NRI music enthusiasts to get training in classical music.
His commitment and devotion to classical music is an ongoing affair.
