:: ABOUT US :: [About Nadabrahmam] Nadabrahmam is an organization run by a group of exponents and selfless lovers of classical music. It is the materialization of vision of Mr. M. D. Somashekhar, exponent of vocal singing. It was established on 15th August 1988 by a melodious Archana with the blessings of Lord Guruvayoorappan. Subsequently, it has continued its relentless efforts with Naadopaasanas at various places on several occasions all over India. As a devotional orchestra group its mission was to add new dimensions to devotional singing with perfect synthesis of classical elements and fine lyrics. The group grew from strength to strength and soon became reckoning force in the filed of devotional music. During the past 17 years it conducted devotional orchestra in thousands of venues inside and outside Kerala including Chennai and Mumbai. In Tamilnadu and Maharashtra states it conducted programmes for months together. 
Nadabahmam Concert at Bombay Stage 1990's Landmark event was at sacred precincts of Lord Shree Guruvayoorappan, on 1994, 15th August - India's 47th Independence Day. On this momentous occasion, from 7 am to 7 pm Mr. M. D Somashekhar created a record of sort by nonstop singing of 101 devotional songs on Lord Krishna. Mr. H. Ganesh was accompaniment in mridangam. This rare feat won universal appreciation of all music lovers. This was held in aspiration to the prosperity of India and world peace & harmony. 
Over the past 16 odd years, Naadabrahmam has performed at over 2000 stage shows with the blessings of the Almighty. We have won the appreciation and sanctification of many renowned personalities like Shri. V. Dakshinamoorthy, Shri. M.K. Arjunan Master, Shri. Sobhana Parameswaran Nair, Shri. Vidyadharan Master, Shri. M.D.Rajendran and many others. At the later stages, several like-minded persons joined hands with them and contributed their ever bit for sustained growth of the organization. May the blessings of Lord Guruvayoorappan be bestowed on one and all........ |
